Modular Build

On receipt of the contract for the new EMET Trust Headquarters, the scope of works included the demolition of the former school caretaker's house. The existing structure was a brick and block building with a flat roof and contained multiple asbestos containing materials, all of which were safely removed in advance of demolition in accordance with statutory requirements.

The existing foundations were fully removed, requiring the newly designed foundations to be constructed into finishes comprised brick slips, cedral cladding and timber cladding.

Internally the building features plasterboard finishes with tape and fill, vinyl and carpet floor finishes, suspended ceilings and a full air conditioning system providing both heating and cooling

External works included the construction of a 10 space car park with EV charging points, automatic gates and a new secure perimeter fence. External street lighting was installed throughout the site to ensure safe access and egress.

All external walkways, steps and ramps were fully designed with architectural input and constructed in full compliance with Building Control requirements.
