The Brief
Burton Green Primary School desperately required additional learning space for their increased pupil intake. Hawker Construction supplied, installed and commissioned a new double-classroom teaching block, inclusive of toilet facilities and landscaping.
The Solution
Taking on the full turn-key project, Hawker Construction Ltd ensured the works programme had been agreed via the Contracts administrator, with focus on using the incumbent suppliers to provide continuity throughout the project and installing PV solar to provide a long-term cost effective energy source. Further works were completed to transform disused land to create an outdoor area inclusive of a wildflower meadow.
Collaborative working with the Contracts Administrator & End user, ensured that the project was completed within budget and agreed programme, with the building ready for the new school year.
